The Department of English at Kutztown University invites applications for one or more part-time positions to teach classes in Public Relations and/or Professional Writing in Fall 2021 and/or Spring 2022. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: A Master’s degree in English, Writing, Communications or a related field. Preferred: Experience in the industry of Public Relations, and college-level teaching experience. The teaching load will include Public Relations Ethics and Law, Research for Public Relations, Writing for Social Media, and/or other classes in Public Relations and Professional Writing, depending on candidates’ expertise and department need. Experience working with diverse populations required.
