Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing). Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to traverse campus for meetings and events.
Primarily weekdays, 8am-5pm. Occasional evenings/nights and weekends may be required.
Shifts must be a minimum of 2 hours long each and can be scheduled around classes.

Seeking a motivated student to assist with strategic planning and analysis with the Engagement & Strategic Planning team. This position will assist with gathering benchmarking information, drafting objectives and goals, coordinating working group sessions, reporting, data analysis and more for several reports including but not limited to the IT Strategic Plan, Periodic Review, UK Executive reports, and SACS reporting updates.
Students that apply for this position should be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented, seeking an opportunity to learn and develop skills in strategic planning and reporting analysis. Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheet preferred. Looking for a candidate willing to commit beyond one semester.
Must be enrolled full-time at the University of Kentucky for the Fall 2021 Semester. Must maintain full-time status for the duration of employment.

Research
In fiscal year 2016, the University of Kentucky was awarded $316.5 million in external grants and contracts. UK is one of only eight universities across the country with the full range of undergraduate, graduate, professional and medical programs on one contiguous campus, leading to groundbreaking discoveries and unique cross-disciplinary research and scholarship.
