The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is seeking a Cardiothoracic Imager to work closely with Chair and leadership. The division of cardiovascular and thoracic imaging in the department of radiology provides the entire range of advanced cardiovascular and thoracic imaging services at UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health North and Emerson Medical Plaza. We offer non-invasive clinical diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art MRI and CT technology, with radiation dose-reduction strategies. Our cardiovascular and thoracic imaging team provides accurate image interpretation and diagnosis of all cardiopulmonary disorders. . 

Appointment will be at the non-tenure accruing position of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include participating in research with academic productivity. Energize and educate cardiothoracic imagers and team in the best practices, establish and maintain system wide, high-quality cardiothoracic care and service. Work with colleagues in cardiothoracic surgery, oncology, radiation oncology & pathology, via daily interactions/multidisciplinary meetings.  

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college's 16 clinical science departments house more than 400 faculty members and 300 residents and fellows. The college offers 32 accredited graduate medical education programs. In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville.

Candidates must be MD/DO - Board Certified / Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. The successful candidate will be fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Imaging and experienced in all aspects of imaging and intervention. Candidates must be able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of Florida and meet the qualifications for a full time faculty position at the University of Florida.
