Job Details
The Senior Associate Athletics Director serves a member of the senior administrative team. Provides oversight for external operations of the department. Develops and oversees the departments strategic branding, communication, engagement, marketing and revenue generation opportunities. Directs and oversees the Associate Athletics Director for Marketing & Communications to develop and implement strategy for all external units. Serves as the liaison to Agganis Arena and works in conjunction on external initiatives. Works closely with other members of the senior team and respective units to ensure that the objectives of the Director are accomplished. Serves as sport administrator for assigned programs and on league/national committees. Oversees and manages external operations of department. Coordinates within the department and with external units on the brand and packaged messaging of BU Athletics and the Director of Athletics. Including, but not limited to, marketing, communications, branding, digital media, video/game production. Develops strategy for all external units.
Required Skills
- A./B.S. required, master's Degree preferred
- At least five years of administrative experience at a Division 1 level college/university preferred
