The Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver has an opening for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor to commence January 2022. The position is located on the Denver Main Campus and is full-time, 40hrs/week. Full benefits are included. The department seeks highly motivated candidates who demonstrate the potential to teach at the crossroads of design, theory, and practice, through studios, core curriculum seminars, and technical classes to graduate students. Over the course of this 9-month position, the Visiting Assistant Professor will engage fully in the college through teaching, research and creative work, outreach, and presenting a lecture and/or mounting an exhibition.The Department of Landscape Architecture is committed to design, research, and scholarship, and is dedicated to engaging diverse perspectives through design inquiry and making in pursuit of landscape architecture open to all.About the Landscape Architecture DepartmentThe Department of Landscape Architecture delivers a three-year LAAB accredited Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) for first professional degree students who hold either a non- preprofessional or pre-professional bachelor's degree.
