Organize and run 4-H Summer Day Camp Activities at the Pender County Extension Center in Burgaw, NC for 2021.Other Work/Responsibilities:
The program assistant will work in colloboration with the Pender County 4-H agent:Number of Permanent Employees this Position Supervises:
—Check in youth each morning before day camp begins and sign them out to a registered parent or guardian before they leave for the day
—Ensure all participants have the proper enrollment and medical forms on file
—Hand out, collect and record program evaluation results
—Assist with day camp set up and clean up
—Assist with presenting educational programming

The minimum requirement for employment with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension (NCCE) is a high-school diploma or equivalent. Advanced training in related fields is preferred.Department Required Skills:
—Experience with Excel spreadsheets and MS Word required.Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:
—Applicants must enjoy working with children age 5-19 years old.
—Experience working with youth in leadership role.Required License or Certification:
