Irianto Lab in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Florida State University, College of Medicine, is currently recruiting for a full-time postdoctoral researcher. We are a cellular biophysics lab with a particular interest in cancer biology and genomics. The incumbent will work on a recently funded Florida Department of Health grant, focused on the role of the tumor's physical microenvironment in metastasis-associated mutations. The project will utilize patient-derived organoids, an orthotopic mouse model, and some level of bioinformatics.
Ph.D. in cell biology, cancer biology, or cellular bioengineering earned within the last five years.
- We are seeking highly motivated candidates with experience in cell biology, cancer biology, and/or bioengineering.
- All applicants should have strong communication skills and experience preparing scientific manuscripts.
Some experience in programming and/or animal study is preferred.

Soft Money Funded Position
This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
