(Contingent upon available funding): 15.38 - 17.31, Hourly Work Schedule: Typically 5 days/week, 8 hours/day Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The Research Assistant conducts andfacilitates scientific research and outreach in support of the TranslationalAnatomical and Biomedical Imaging Laboratory within the Anatomy and CellBiology Department of OSU Center for Health Sciences, includingthe maintenance of an active volunteer program. The Research Assistant duties included, but are not limited to, digital imaging with digital anatomical reconstruction of osteological, fossil, and contrast-enhanced (diceCT) CT scans, supervising and assisting medical student researchers in 3D imaging projects, and ordering and receiving supplies of equipment and specimens.
May assistwith microCT scanning with fully-X-ray shielded machine (<0.000001 Seivertradiation exposure)
Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger,grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or withoutreasonable accommodations.

Position Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Zoology, and/or Radiology with a focus in anatomy
- Prior experience in 3D imaging lab reconstructing anatomical structures is desirable; experience concurrent with or as part of the degree is acceptable
- Master's degree
