The College of Architecture and Planning has an opening for a part-time John Rogers Professor of Practice in the Department of Architecture under the John B Rogers Fund for the Advancement of the Practice of Architecture. This position is hired at the level of Assistant Professor Adjunct. The anticipated start date for this position is Fall 2021.John B Rogers was the consummate architect with over 50 years of practice in the field who was dedicated to the betterment of the built environment through the practice of architecture. . Job Responsibilities:
The John Rogers Professor of Practice develops, prepares, and teaches the Pro Practice course to graduate Architecture students as part of the curriculum in the Department of Architecture. Adjunct faculty are hired on a course-by-course basis.Competencies:Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.Outstanding customer service skills.Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.Salary and Benefits:
The hiring rate (or budgeted rate)
for this position has been established at $8,000.The above salary rate represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate at the time of posting.
