Position Description:
The Summer Sessions and International Education Office (SSIEO) seeks an experienced and forward-thinking professional who is committed to advancing SSIEO's mission. Serving as SSIEO's Senior Associate Director of Administration, and have the responsibilities of a Chief Administrative Officer, the Senior Associate Director of Administration is accountable for the overall administrative management of SSIEO, meeting the evolving demands of the office in changing technological and budgetary environments, and is responsible for SSIEO's operational and financial efficacy, efficiency, and sustainability, developing and proposing creative and innovative solutions that can help the senior leadership implement strategic visions for SSIEO's future. The Senior Associate Director has a great deal of autonomy and decision-making authority with regard to the day-to-day operations of SSIEO, including matters of budget, personnel, purchasing, and facilities in accordance with university policies and regulations.
In addition, the Senior Associate Director manages the summer revenue sharing process, for summer offerings that generate over $50 million in gross revenue. The incumbent serves as the advisor to academic units and primary liaison with campus administrative units concerning summer specific personnel policies and procedures, as well as summer revenue management and projections.

In 15 of the 16 medical specialty areas examined, UCLA Medical Center ranked in the top 20.
