Job Summary/Basic Function:Professors will teach a variety of nutrition classes at the graduate level using our online learning management system. Content is taught from the Christian worldview. Courses are offered in an eight week format with content preloaded for professors. Topics include biochemistry, nutritional program planning, nutrition research, community nutrition, nutrition for pregnancy & lactation, geriatric nutrition, nutrition education, performance nutrition, diabetes, obesity, and eating disorders.
Minimum Qualifications:A terminal degree with a Master’s or Doctorate in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration. Must have excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Prefer candidates with an academic background in both nutrition and public health. Priority given to candidates that are RDs or licensed nutritionists. Experience teaching nutritional science/dietetics and/or public health nutrition at a college level. Online teaching experience is helpful.
