  • Create and develop the annual graduate planner
  • Meet with students regarding academic dishonesty and collaborate with other campus professionals to provide learning opportunities for students who have been reported for academic dishonesty
  • Meet with students who would like to file a grievance; determine appropriate solutions and follow up with students, faculty, and staff involved to help find a resolution
  • Administer Graduate Student Travel Grant program, making sure applying students meet requirements
  • Manage non-degree seeking students
  • Manage Chancellor’s Distinguished Fellowship
    • Manage dashboard and data, annual evaluations, fellowship student issues, poster session exemptions, approving travel apps
  • Serve as member of university committees providing information, guidance, and advice regarding graduate programs
  • Work with manager for annual staff retreat and staff development
  • Serve as a backup for checking format of theses/dissertations before accepting the final copy, as needed
  • Assist in the planning, developing, and managing of program proposals, grant proposals, and presentations in order to promote, support, and implement graduate programs and projects
  • Provide operational support for the Graduate Faculty/Graduate Council including planning of meetings and events and updating website
  • Manage departmental website
    • Make regular updates
    • Work on overall redesign of website
  • Manage departmental social media accounts such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Other duties as assigned by office leadership
      Minimum Qualifications
      • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
      Preferred Qualifications
      • One year of experience in a related program or field is preferred.
      • Excellent communication skills and teamwork is preferred.
