Have you considered the exciting intellectual challenges of teaching high-ability students at Christopher Newport University? The CNU Luter School of Business is accepting applications from prospective adjunct faculty members to teach individual courses, as needed, in the following areas in Fall Semester 2018 and/ or Spring 2019.
•Enterprise Management-The Enterprise Management class covers topics related to the strategic and long-range planning process of business and nonprofit organizations.
•Software Applications for Business -The Software Applications for Business class covers advanced skills training in Microsoft Excel as well as selected topics in Microsoft Access. Candidates should be able to teach principles of database design and SQL queries. Preference will be given to individuals with Microsoft Office Specialist certification.
•Introduction to Data Analytics
•Marketing Management
•Strategic Management

Along with demonstrated ability for excellent teaching, candidates must hold an earned graduate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited university in a relevant discipline, with 18 completed semester hours of related graduate course work or an MBA and related professional experience. Official transcripts will be required at the time of hire. Candidates for hire are required to complete a CNU sponsored background check.

The Luter School of Business at Christopher Newport University is composed of 21 faculty and four majors (Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing). The Luter School’s AACSB-accredited business curriculum requires a minimum GPA of 3.0, and attracts some of the University’s best students. Faculty Information:
