The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) invites applications to identify a pool of Adjunct Instructors who are qualified to deliver undergraduate and graduate level course in the department of Earth & Environmental Sciences. The department offers coursework in earth and environmental sciences, geography, geology, and geospatial sciences at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Candidates should possess a terminal graduate-level degree in geospatial technology, environmental science, geography, geology, or related fields, a strong record of professional experience in ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine software, and ESRI’s Virtual Campus training materials. Candidates must be able to design and deliver training with Zoom and CANVAS to meet student learning outcomes. Candidates must be certificated for online teaching.

Part Time, Non-Benefit eligible position
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications and may be prorated based on class enrollments.
