Job Details

Trinity Washington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach one or two of the following courses for Fall 2023.

MATH 109: Foundations of Mathematics (4 cr), Mon Wed Fri 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM;

MATH 108: Finite Mathematics (4 cr), Mon Wed Fri 1:30 PM – 2:45 PM;

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in mathematics or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices for foundational math courses is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference is given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices and who have experience with first-year students.
