Nicolet College is seeking a Systems Engineer, who plays a crucial role in the efficient operations of Nicolet College and helps to ensure a high-level user and student experience. Responsibilities include the provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of virtual servers, server hardware, software, and related infrastructure. The Systems Engineer incorporates industry best practices and cutting-edge concepts to ensure that servers are highly available, performant, efficient, and that their configurations adhere to the College's policies and standards.

The Systems Engineer also provides daily monitoring and maintenance of server hardware, server operating systems, backups, VMWare, and other server-related infrastructure in order to meet the existing and future needs of enterprise operations and initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field and 2-5 years of related experience in an IT setting.

Qualified candidates possess an Associate Degree in Information Technologies, Computer Programming, or related field, and experience with VMware, O365, and Active Directory administration.
