General Description
College of the Sequoias Community College District is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach Astronomy, Physics and Physical Science within its Science Division.

Adjunct faculty assignments may include weekend, and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center.

Adjunct faculty applications which meet the required minimum qualifications are kept on file for one year from the date the application is received.

Job Duties
Under the general direction of the dean or director, adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to students.

Organization

College of the Sequoias is a two-year California community college offering educational and enrichment programs for the residents of its district in Tulare and Kings counties. The college was established in 1925 and moved to its current 62-acre main campus site in Visalia in 1940.

In addition to the campus in Visalia, COS operates a full-service center in Hanford that is also home to the college's police and fire academies.

COS also opened its Tulare College Center in January 2013. It is a full-service college center and the home of COS' agriculture program
