Job Id: 639 # of Openings: 1 Graduate School Marketing Manager Job Overview This position directly reports to the Director of Marketing Communications, who oversees marketing and branding for the entire institution. While a member of the overall College marketing team, it is essential that this individual also has a very close working relationship with Graduate Admissions. The primary responsibilities of the position are to develop and execute measurably successful marketing and communication strategies that enhance recruitment efforts and reinforce the brand of Wheaton College Graduate School. Duties and Responsibilities · Creates, drives, and measures the effectiveness of the marketing and communication strategies.· Conducts focus groups and other necessary research prior to execution to test the strategies.· Interacts with graduate faculty, admissions staff and current students on a regular basis in order to identify potential stories to share with constituents.· Regularly attends marketing’s “Story Hour” to share story ideas and collaborate with fellow team members.· Project manages and writes copy for brochures, ads, sell sheets, web content, social media, etc.· Collaborates with Graduate Admissions to support faculty participation at events for marketing purposes.· Manages graduate admissions email communications strategy.· Strategizes and manages digital marketing efforts for Graduate Admissions.· Creatively solves challenges.· Completes other marketing responsibilities as needed.· This job description is intended to represent key areas of responsibilities; specific assignments may vary from time to time, and other duties may be assigned. Qualifications· Three-five years leading measurably successful marketing initiatives.· B.A. required.· Experience in higher education preferred.· Desired attributes include:
