Position Summary::Electrical and Computer Engineering Assistant Professor in the area of remote sensing. Specifically, we are interested in candidates with specializations in signal processing application to radar, LIDAR, and other sensors; microwave remote sensing with emphasis on algorithms and data analysis; and sensor development and design for snow, moisture, ice, and other targets.
Ad Text::The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with emphasis in the area of remote sensing. Specifically, we are interested in candidates with specializations in signal processing application to radar, LIDAR, and other sensors; microwave remote sensing with emphasis on algorithms and data analysis; and sensor development and design for snow, moisture, ice, and other targets. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering, or a closely related field, by the date of appointment and must show the potential to establish a quality research program, collaborate effectively with other faculty, and excel in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
