Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Associate Dean is a full time, 12 month contracted position with the School of Divinity. This position is an academic administrator, as well as a member of the faculty, whose primary role is to support the Dean of the College/School in providing exceptional leadership for curricular initiatives, strategic planning, program evaluation and development, and the management of administrative and financial affairs. Duties include coordinating the daily operations of the College/School and all matters necessary for the progress and management of the College/School. Other duties may be required, as determined by University and/or College/School leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
•Ph.D. or terminal degree in specific area of study, or related field.
•Teaching experience in education, with residential educational experience as a plus.
•Understanding of technologies associated with online and residential education.
•Experience with curricular development and planning.
•Passion for student and faculty development and mentorship.
•Academic and research experience (conducting and disseminating) in related field.
•Commitment to the vision, mission and purpose of Liberty University.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
•Track record of publishing.
•Interest in emerging educational technologies.
•Administrative experience in higher education with assessment, course outcomes, and/or accreditation.
