Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate a computer extensively for four (4) or more hours per day.
Shift:Primarily days Monday – Friday Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed.
Job Summary:The Center for Innovation in Population Health is seeking an Associate Policy Analyst to serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing training support and technical assistance on the use of the TCOM Tools: Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS), the Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) and the Family Advocacy and Support Tool (FAST).

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:Experience partnering with key community, funding, and policy stakeholders in the development and carrying out of changes in public policies required.
Certified in one or more of the TCOM Tools: Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) and Family Advocacy and Support Tool (FAST) and/or Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience:Master’s degree in public policy, social work, developmental or clinical psychology or other relevant field plus a minimum of two years or relevant experience required.

Research
In fiscal year 2016, the University of Kentucky was awarded $316.5 million in external grants and contracts. UK is one of only eight universities across the country with the full range of undergraduate, graduate, professional and medical programs on one contiguous campus, leading to groundbreaking discoveries and unique cross-disciplinary research and scholarship.
