Job Description

The Campus Visit/Community Partnerships Intern position will be housed in the Division of Enrollment Management. The Campus Visit/Community Partnerships Intern will work with the Director and Coordinator for on-campus events.

This is a temporary grant-funded position. Grant funded positions are time-limited and are contingent upon sufficient grant funding. This position is scheduled for a duration of 12 weeks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop enrollment communications’

  • Write and execute multi-channel communications using the Customer Relationship Management tool;

  • Research and re-interpret current student stories and content for enrollment publications;

  • Edits and writes for multiple printed and digital publications;

  • May help with social media planning and tactical execution;

  • Supports the Coordinator of Enrollment Communications and the Manager of Enrollment Communications with communications projects;

  • Assists with sourcing marketing photos for various publications;

  • Assists with creating production schedules for various target audiences;

  • Provides support in developing communication flows for new audiences which may include parents, military students, etc.

  • Ability to multitask while also completing projects in a timely manner.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written communication skills; knowledge of AP writing style is a plus.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • No prior experience required

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or similar

  • Three years of professional experience in marketing/communications/journalism

  • Knowledge or experience with a Customer Relationship Management tool is a plus
