Job Summary

The School of Social Sciences and Humanities is seeking part-time instructors in Birth-Kindergarten education who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Required Qualifications A minimum of a master’s degree in Education, and must be certified (or eligible for certification) to teach in the state of Georgia. Graduate coursework should focus on K-12 education related to child development, early childhood education, or special education; as opposed to adult education, educational psychology, counseling education, higher education, or educational leadership or administration. K-12 teaching experience is required. A Ph.D. or Ed.D is preferred from an accredited institution. Must be certified (or eligible for certification) to teach in the state of Georgia.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

College teaching experience is required.

    Ability to teach EDUCATION courses on the collegiate level Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methodsAbility to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learningEffective oral and written communication skills
