The Business School has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Executive Programs Coordinator position.

Nature of Work

The Program Coordinator plays an integral role in assisting with operations of the Office of Executive Programs.  The Office of Executive Programs is home to two Executive MBA programs, as well as other executive education offerings.  The position is responsible for a variety of duties (see examples below) in support and coordination with the Director of Executive Programs.

Examples of Work Performed

  • Executive Programs Student Services and Enrollment Management
    • Partners with the Director to guide prospective students through the application process.
    • Track student applications in Slate for completeness and contact students for missing material
    • Collaborates with the Director and the Business School CRM professional to create and manage student email campaigns through Salesforce.
    • Serves as the Executive Programs department representative to work with Business School CRM professional on expanding Salesforce features for the Executive Programs.
    • Develop and update the Executive Programs admitted student website.
    • Develops content and manages the Executive Programs Canvas account that includes all pre-program tasks that newly admitted students complete.
    • Assists with the planning, execution, and staffing of reoccurring program events including orientation, seasonal receptions, and graduation.
    • Serves as a concierge for students between Business School and campus departments.
    • Helps to collect and compile student data for the annual Executive Programs international course abroad.
    • Assists Director and Assistant Director in creating program schedules, creating courses in CUSIS, and registers Executive Program students in their coursework.
    • Assists Director with the coordination of Faculty Course Questionnaires (FCQ’s), which includes creating FCQ’s, distribution to students, compiling results, and developing summary reports.
    • Coordinates orders for office supplies, office equipment, and program supplies used by the Executive Programs.
       
  • Other Duties
    • Supports alumni relations for the program which includes developing and maintaining a new internal database, updating contact information, and assisting with alumni events.
    • Creates future yearly calendars for the programs.
    • Attends all curriculum, faculty and other departmental meetings to act as scribe for agenda creation and minute taking.
    • Participates in other program activities and initiatives as requested.
    • Responsible for organizational logistics, including the acquisition and payment of catering for all student functions and meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Salary and Benefits:

    The salary range (or the hiring range) for this position has been established at $43,188 to $45,000 and is commensurate with skills and experience.

    The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

    The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Requirements 

      Three years of experience working in a role requiring the ability to solve problems, balance multiple priorities, attend to details and provide excellent service to internal or external parties.A combination of Appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
    Preferred Requirements

      Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, STEM or other related fields.One year of experience working at an institution of higher education or post-secondary related organization.Experience with SalesforceExperience with Student Information SystemsExperience with PeopleSoft finance and/or procurementExperience with SlateProficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

      Proficiency in MS-Office. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to execute key duties.  Familiarity with a variety of business and higher education concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on knowledge, experience, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to perform a variety of tasks. A high degree of team collaboration is required.
