Custodial Staff, 2nd Shift

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Custodial Staff, 2nd Shift (Building/Grounds Specialist II) in the Custodial Services Department.

Duties include, but are not limited to: general cleaning of assigned areas; maintaining flooring; removing trash; maintaining equipment and supplies; using best safety practices; providing exceptional customer service and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and experience in the custodial field are required. A successful candidate must possess working knowledge of good custodial practices and cleaning products as well as equipment.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in the custodial field.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of good custodial practices and a complete understanding of cleaning products and equipment available. Must be able to operate extractors, buffers, burnishers, vacuum cleaners, wet/dry vacs, mop/broom and have a working knowledge and experience with cleaners and chemicals. Good verbal and written communication skills.
