Clinical Liaison

Position Summary

The Clinical Liaison plays a vital role in developing and sustaining relationships within MSU Health Care and with external referral providers through EMR and service line education. This position will assist in the development and implementation of clinic provider satisfaction strategies, workflows and EMR support, retention and recruitment efforts. Will work with MSU Health Care clinic leadership to develop opportunities to build relationships, strengthen the clinical structure and satisfaction for our providers.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge normally acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Advertising, Marketing or Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in sales and marketing strategies, and/or meeting and banquet scheduling, hotel operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Minimum of five years in health care, medical related sales or recruitment. Valid State of Michigan drivers license. Strong clinical background such as RN or other allied health professional. Strong marketing or sales experience. Experience with electronic medical records as a leader or trainer. Master's degree in marketing, health care administration/management or clinical discipline.

Work Hours

Work hours are typically 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., but can vary as necessary to accommodate clinic operations

Summary of Health Risks

Exposure to human blood, serum, tissue and other body fluids; and materials covered under Universal Precautions; TB risk or work within three (3) feet of patients in a health care setting; wear a respirator. Covid precautions.
