Position Summary
  • Audit vouchers, forms and financial statements in order to ensure accuracy and validity
  • Provide information on and interpretation of accounting forms, budget concerns and University and unit operational and accounting procedures and policies
  • Enter information to maintain budget systems and reports and calculate costs & changes in the budget
  • Identify inaccuracies and correct inaccuracies by initiating appropriate changes
  • Facilitate communication to correct inaccuracies or ensure the accuracy and validity of forms, statements and reports
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Accounting; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in financial statement and report preparation, general ledger accounting and budgeting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Programs, particularly EBS and IFS
  • Working knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint functions
  • Basic understanding of federal cost policy
  • Experience communicating effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
