Post-Doctoral Associate ADFLSA:
The goal of the proposed position is to increase our fundamental understanding of planet formation. The candidate will:
1)Perform astrophysical fluid simulations of protoplanetary accretion discs
2)Develop new code methods and enhance existing techniques for integrating dust into astrophysical fluids
3)Perform radiative transfer calculations (modelling how light moves through an object) to generate synthetic observations
4)Interpret simulation and observational data, synergizing both domains.
5)Mentoring of UGA graduate students, to ensure continued excellence and development of professional and research skills.
6)Produce manuscripts for publication in leading astronomical journals.
