Reporting to the Senior Director for Administration, the Administrative Financial Director at Facilities Management Division (FMD) provides leadership for FMD’s fiscal operations. The position has oversight of day-to-day business operations and capital budget management. As such, the Administrative Financial Director works regularly with FMD leadership to prepare and track budgets, develop and present financial reports and ensures division wide compliance with the university’s fiscal and purchasing policies and procedures. They also serve as the administrator for FMD’s operations in relation to UGA’s Financial Management System, UGA Budget Management System, UGAMart and FMD’s internal work order management system (AiM).
Administratively, this position leads project management teams to develop and/or improve division-wide operating procedures. In collaboration with FMD Senior Management, the Administrative Financial Director develops long and short range goals for the organization. As the leader of FMD fiscal operations, the incumbent is responsible for staff recruitment, professional development and evaluation to ensure maximum operational efficiency and departmental goals. Additionally, this position serves as a resource for campus partners and external customers. The Administrative Financial Director also represents FMD by serving on various department and university committees.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:• Thorough knowledge of UGA fiscal and purchasing polices and operating procedures.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial data to assist with data-driven decisions.
• Ability to present information to all organizational levels within FMD and UGA.
• Project Management skills including process review, design and development.
• Extensive experience in leading a team and employee development.
• Strong skillset utilizing Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Duties/Responsibilities:Fiscal Operations
- Assist the Sr. Director for Administration with planning, managing, evaluating and reconciling of all financial needs for FMD.
- Administrator for FMD’s operations in relation to UGA’s Financial Management System, UGA Budget Management System, UGAMart and FMD’s internal work order management system (AiM).
- Provide regular support for the daily financial functions of the Business Office.
- Work regularly with leadership team to prepare, track and adjust division level budgets.
- Develop and prepare financial reports as needed by division.

- Oversee assignment and usage of p-cards and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures associated with p-cards.
