Dean of Online and Digital Learning and City College


Loyola University New Orleans seeks a strategic, innovative, and entrepreneurial leader to serve as its inaugural dean of online and digital learning and City College.

Reporting to Provost Tanuja Singh, the inaugural dean will articulate a bold vision for the future of digital learning and develop a flexible and unifying strategy for online education at Loyola. The dean will expand educational options for traditional, new, and adult learners while differentiating online and City College offerings with Loyola’s distinctive mission and values.

As part of its 2020 Strategic Plan, Loyola seeks to re-establish City College to expand educational access and opportunities across the region through workforce development partnerships, continuing education, and certificate programs and stackable credentials. The dean will have a unique and exciting opportunity to lead this effort, creating a hub of academic innovation at Loyola while meeting the demands of an ever-growing community of adult learners.

Loyola University seeks a dean with a deep understanding of the digital learning landscape and prior experience managing an online education enterprise. A doctoral degree and at least 10 years of experience working with undergraduate and graduate online programs are preferred.
