The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine seeks applicants for the position of Lecturer in Sustainable Agriculture within the Section of Population Medicine in the Department of Clinical Studies - New Bolton Center. The candidate will contribute to Penn Vet's broad vision of expanding into sustainable agricultural practices both locally and globally that will benefit people, animals, the environment and society.

The candidate will work with colleagues to forward Penn Vet's “Farm of the Future” by engaging critical stakeholders and collaborating on feasibility planning and design and will help to strengthen outreach efforts and communication to the public. The candidate is expected to work toward independent or collaborative projects that expand the department's research, teaching and service in local and global sustainable agriculture. Specific responsibilities include teaching courses related to food security and social entrepreneurship. As time allows, the lecturer will work with colleagues within and outside the department to develop innovative curricula that prepare students for interdisciplinary careers in One Health.
