Pursuant to our vision of cultivating a community where all students, faculty and staff are respected, supported, and able to thrive, candidates will be expected to provide evidence of their past and potential contributions to diversity, equity and inclusion in an academic community. Research, plan, develop and implement new initiatives to further opportunities for ethical leadership instruction for faculty.
- Collaborate with the Division of Student Life to develop programming that advances learning in ethical leadership through student organizations, athletics, and other experiences. Research, plan, develop and implement new initiatives to further opportunities for ethical leadership learning for students.
- Partner with Pathways Advisors to build and facilitate connections with faculty, alumni, professional groups, and community organizations, resulting in ethical leadership-related practica, internships, service-learning projects, and mentoring relationships in the greater Pittsburgh area and beyond.
- Oversee and assess student progress toward the defined Ethical Leadership Outcomes, developing appropriate assessment methodologies for each.
- Oversee selected academic and co-curricular programs to be based in the center (e.g., Conflict and Resolution Studies, Washington Fellows, etc.).
Budget Oversight
- Work with the Vice President for Business and Finance to develop the center's budget and manage budget expenditures.
- Provide efficient and effective administration of the Center budget.
- Work in collaboration with the Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations, sharing program details and analytical support for dissemination to potential funders and for the development of grant proposals.
Center Operations

- Ensure the application of robust data analysis, reporting, budgeting and performance indicators to determine whether goals are being attained and adjusting as necessary.
