Job Description Summary:

Clarkson University’s David D. Reh School of Business invites applications for visiting Assistant Professor/ Instructor of Engineering and Management to begin August 2, 2021. This is a one-year non-tenure rank, full time position (with the possibility of being converted to a tenure-track position in the future). The selected visiting Assistant Professor (Ph.D. required) will teach three courses per semester, and will be expected to actively participate in the School’s research environment. If a visiting Instructor is hired (master’s degree required), then that person will teach four courses per semester. For A.B.D. candidates, the teaching load and job title is negotiable. The Assistant Professor/Instructor will teach on campus in Potsdam, NY.

The interdisciplinary Engineering & Management program is offered by the Reh School of Business and the Coulter School of Engineering. Minimum Qualifications:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have earned a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a closely related field by the appointment date. The courses to be covered include Operations & Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and likely another course or two depending on program needs and the selected candidate’s background. Candidates with a solid record of teaching and a documented record of high-quality, impactful scholarship will be given strong consideration. The successful candidate must demonstrate awareness and experience understanding the needs of a diverse student population through inclusive course materials and teaching strategies.
