General Summary of Position:

This being a promotional opportunity, only current UML Employees within the same Bargaining unit are eligible to apply for this position.

The Associate Director will serve as the primary point of contact for the admissions staff and other university stakeholders to provide support and overall management for the effective, and efficient strategic use of Slate to support the recruitment, application review, yield and enrollment of new undergraduate students.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7 years experience in Admissions or higher education setting
  • Knowledge of best practices as related to admissions and enrollment
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing systems/CRM
  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of digital communication and data management best practices/laws
  • Knowledge of FERPA & local data governance requirements for the security of applicant and student information
  • Collaborative work style
  • Ability to manage complex, collaborative relationships
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on occasion

Additional Considerations:

  • Demonstrated experience working with PeopleSoft/TargetX
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills. Experience with UML Budgeting Processes/Procedures
