Full-time Faculty Positions

Full-time faculty positions will be posted on a per-opening basis. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Applicants will be evaluated at the college/school level for the position which they are submitting an application. Unless noted by a close date, positions will remain open until they are filled. Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Part-time Faculty Positions

DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part Time Faculty to teach courses in a variety of disciplines across all 10 colleges and schools. Individuals may enter expressions of interest by submitting their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified to teach. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding. Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses. The pool will remain in place until the closing date specified in the posting details; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must resubmit. All individuals in the pool will be notified by email when the posting is closed.

DePaul University's Department of Marketing is seeking applicants for a term faculty position (full-time, not tenure track) to begin September 1, 2021.

The ideal faculty member would have strong sales experience (15+ years) and be able to guide our students in their search for careers in the sales field. Thus, this term faculty member should have coaching and career-planning experience. This new hire should also have demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate sales and marketing courses. Lastly, the candidate should have experience leading and building organizations. The typical teaching load for a term faculty member is nine courses per year, based on a quarter system (three per term).

The candidate should have at least an MBA from an AACSB accredited university.

The College and Department

Founded in 1912, the Driehaus College of Business was among the first 10 business colleges in the United States and the first at an American Catholic university. The College offers undergraduate degrees in Marketing, part-time and full-time MBA programs, a large number of M.S. degrees, and a D.B.A. program. There are approximately 6,000 undergraduate, graduate students, and D.B.A students enrolled in the College.

The college is named for DePaul alumnus Richard H. Driehaus in re cognition of his longtime partnership with his alma mater and $30 million gift in 2012. The college's business graduate school and MBA program were introduced in 1948. The school was named the Charles H.
