TCS Community and Global Engagement
Internship
In its continued commitment to positive global and community engagement, The TCS Education System Office of Community and Global Engagement seeks an enthusiastic intern to assist in program initiatives. This position will be involved in multiple projects and support administrative functions within Community and Global Engagement. In this opportunity, the intern will learn how to apply interpersonal communication, adaptability, and organizational skills to support engagement across our TCS partner institutions.
This is a one-year internship (August 10, 2021-May 31, 2022) scheduled for 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Community and Global Engagement team in program development and administration
- Analyze internal data and reporting
- Support logistic providers by researching and vetting; interviewing and identifying regional expertise
- Collaborate with affiliates to support international student services
- Provide support to other areas of the department as needed
Position Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven experience with MS Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize department needs
Position Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Required to work 10 hours per week
- A passion for community and global engagement initiatives
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform sedentary work
- Ability to operate office equipment including computer, printers, and phone
