Faculty, Accounting Instructor
Position DescriptionThis 40 week full time faculty position will support instruction for NTC's Accounting Associate Degree program. Individual should be comfortable teaching in a variety of formats (face-to-face and online) using multiple forms of technology for instruction (Interactive Video Conferencing, Zoom, etc). Experience in these areas preferred:
1. Tax Accounting
3. Financial Accounting

- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or related field.
- Occupational instructors must have a minimum of two years (4,000 hours) full-time or equivalent demonstrated relevant occupational experience, one of which must be within the last five years; may waive the occupational experience of one year within the last five years if the candidate has two years post-secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the last five years.
- Upon hire and throughout employment as an instructor by the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS), must meet Higher Learning Commission requirements; maintain Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements and licensure required by other agencies to maintain individual and program accreditation, if applicable.
- Experience in teaching and working with diverse populations preferred.
- Ability to plan, organize, instruct, and facilitate quality education programs, including development of relevant curriculum.
6 to 8 hours: Performing repetitive movements, grasping and working indoors 4 to 5 hours: Standing and walking
1 to 3 hours: Balancing, bending, driving, kneeling, pulling, pushing, reaching, sitting, twisting and working in temperature extremes

Additional Physical Requirements:
Vision: Adequate with aid to read instructions, labels, documents, computer screens, and differentiate between colors.
Hearing: Adequate with aid to understand oral requests, telephone conversation, and PA systems.
Required Employee Program Safety Training:
Bloodborne Pathogen, emergency action plan, emergency eye wash, emergency procedures, ergonomics (office/workplace), hazardous waste, medical waste and slips, trips & falls.
