Adjunct Instructor-Graphic Design
We are accepting applications for individuals who meet our minimum qualifications and who can provide instruction in our Graphic Design courses, with an emphasis on Advertising and Branding.Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean/Instructional Manager, the instructor is responsible for providing instruction to students within the assigned and approved instructional delivery system and in accordance with the mission, goals, policies and procedures of the District. The instructor is responsible for providing an active learning environment to enable students to demonstrate course competencies, and creating a student learning centered environment that places learning at the center of educational experiences.Minimum Qualifications
Requirements may vary according to the instructional area and position.
1. Seven years of experience in the occupational area preferred and a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in graphic design.
2. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
3. The Adjunct Instructor-Graphic Design, Advertising and Branding must have experience with using graphic design techniques for Advertising and Branding means.
Desired Start Date: On or before August 16, 2021.
Hours will vary from 4-8 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Class openings may be available both during the day and evenings. This is position is based on when specific classes are offered throughout the school year.
