The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is seeking a candidate for a two-year postgraduate internship supporting the Director of Athletics office.
The intern supports the Director of Athletics office to advance initiatives including but not limited to fundraising, revenue generation, sports administration, compliance, student development, and other strategic initiatives. Completes correspondence, research and related projects, as assigned. Assists with communications, planning, operations, project management, and implementation.
This individual works well on collaborative projects but is also able to work independently with little supervision. The intern should have the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while balancing priorities. The individual should remain flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism. Confidentiality is essential to being successful in this role.

Anticipated Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Education: Bachelor's Degree.
