Description:

The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery/Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine invites applications for full-time tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level.

We are seeking candidates with strong academic accomplishments in translational clinical sciences, cellular/molecular biology and immunology, to complement our departmental research strengths. The department interests include head and neck cancer metabolism and immunotherapy, stem cell biology related to immunology, cell-based disease modeling and therapy, pain and inflammation, and tissue regeneration and repair. A strong track record of extramural grant funding, as well as an interest in teaching basic sciences to dental students, are encouraged.


Qualifications:

Applicants with a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree including dual degrees (DMD/DDS-PhD, MD-PhD, DVM-PhD, PharmD- PhD) are invited to submit a statement of research and teaching philosophy, curriculum vitae, and names with contact information for three references. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
