JOB SUMMARY:

Clemson University's University Development Team is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to fulfill the following duties:

  • Manage a variety of complex administrative duties in support of the development efforts and activities for the assigned team and Development Officers (DO's) within the University Development Team (UDT).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


JOB DUTIES:

60% - Essential - Support for Executive Director of Development, Unit Lead(s), and other DO's: Coordinates & prepares materials for meetings with Dean, UDT/DAR leadership, faculty members & other administrators. Serves as a liaison to the administrators' executive support staff. Maintains dynamic calendar via Outlook, prepares meeting materials & coordinates recurring meetings with direct reports and development team.
Generates reports using various databases and technology platforms. Coordinates travel arrangements. Processes reimbursements & invoices for expenditures, and tracks budgets. Coordinates itineraries for donor visits & donor cultivation activities. Assists with team operations projects/tasks as needed.

25% - Essential - Coordination, Event and Logistics Management for Capital Campaigns: Under the direction of the Executive Director, provides complex administrative support for capital campaigns. Provides event management & coordination including appropriate correspondence with Dean, faculty members, administrators, and donors. Maintains accurate reports and financial information related to campaign goals and fundraising progress toward goals. Serves as liaison to Development & Alumni Relations colleagues regarding campaign information. Provides administrative support for the campaign committees, as necessary.

15% - Essential - Event Management for Football: Provides logistical support and coordinates invitation process, briefing materials and biographical information for VIP suites. Coordinates other football related activities as necessary for assigned team and Development Officers. Works in conjunction with assigned colleges to communicate, collaborate, organize, and facilitate all logistics for home football games.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education High School Diploma
Work Experience 3-5 Years in complex administrative & office management or a Bachelor's Degree

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as Lead - Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors Budget - Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation.
