Position Summary

The candidate will spend 40 hours a week managing a project related to an intervention designed to promote self-regulation in preschoolers and kindergartners. They will also engage in scholarly writing related to areas relevant to the project. The candidate would have the following specific responsibilities: Supervise data collection within preschools and kindergartens; Create and manage databases, using a variety of statistical packages; Run analyses of data collected; Write scholarly publications. This is a 6-month fixed term faculty position beginning July 1, 2021, with possibility of renewal.

Doctorate -Human Development and Family Studies

Minimum Requirements

Required qualifications include:

  • Project management experience, preferably associated with federal grants;
  • Experience collecting data within a school setting;
  • Scholarly publications in the area of self-regulation, parenting, and/or academic achievement;
  • Strong knowledge of research methods and statistics including the ability to conduct sophisticated analyses using the applicable software.
  • The candidate will have expertise in regression, multilevel modeling, structural equation modeling, and longitudinal analyses.
