Position Highlights:

This position will assist with all staffing, communication, customer service and delivery/setup of events. This position will require the individual to work occasional evenings and weekends. The successful candidate should have attention to detail, problem solving skills, leadership and management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepares catering orders according to Express Catering standards. Sets up catering orders according to the standards of the department and expectations of the client, in a manner that ensures consistency in all catered functions
  • Ensures proper presentation and service of food and beverages
  • Delivers catering orders using a UA vehicle, in a timely manner
  • Ensures proper presentation and service of food and beverages
  • Works to ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Able to occasionally transport/move a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a minimum of two years driving experience upon employment
  • Assist with incoming orders and plans accordingly to needs such as, scheduling, delivery fleet assignment, ordering of any items needed through warehouse
  • Assists with monthly Inventory and keeps accurate counts of China and glassware. Notifying ADOC of any needs for replenishment of stock
  • Supervises work of others including assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards are met

  • Demonstrate attention to detail, problem solving skills, leadership and management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members and guests
  • Demonstrate a strong collaborative spirit
  • Demonstrate a breadth of knowledge enabling high level of contribution to all aspects of the job

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the UniversityFleet Safety Policy
  • Minimum of two years driving experience upon employment
  • Able to transport/move up to 50 pounds
