Our Adult Basic Education/GED Instructors will provide learner-centered instruction for basic literacy and math through high school equivalency/college readiness skills in reading, writing, math computation, applied math, science and social studies in preparation for taking the GED® exam. Instructors will create individual education plans for each learner and monitor progress toward passing the GED® exam. Instructors will instruct students one-on-one and in small groups, guide and supervise ongoing study, engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners, create reports, maintain records and participate in professional development events.
We are filling positions for these times:
- Monday/Wednesday, 5-9 p.m. at Antioch Library, West Park or Olathe Health Education Center
- Monday/Wednesday, 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. at West Park
- Tuesday/Thursday, 5-9 p.m. at Antioch Library or Olathe Health Education Center

Elementary or secondary education degree
K-12 teaching experience

Experience preparing learners for the GED® exam
