Job Information

The Medical College of Georgia, Department of Medicine/Internal Medicine Division located at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia is seeking outstanding candidates for an Internal Medicine faculty position. The selected candidate will serve as a general internist for the Department of Medicine: General Internal Medicine, provide comprehensive care to adult patients with various symptoms and medical issues, participate in the teaching activities of the department for medical students and residents, and engage in clinical or quality-related research.

Minimum Requirements

MD or DO degree from an appropriately accredited institution. Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.

Conditions of Employment

All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review. For specific positions, the final candidate may be subject to a (pre-employment) physical, drug screen, and/or credit check.

The final candidate will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree in the form of an original transcript. Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
