Responsibilities Position serves as the University Business Administrators program site manager responsible for ensuring sound fiscal management and compliance within Seminole Production. Serves as the financial and Human Resource departmental representative to CCI for Seminole Production.

Responsible for the reconciliation and maintenance of the department's general ledgers (OMNI) for Seminole Production. Compiles financial data and monitoring of fund balances of C&G, E&G, Auxiliaries, Foundation & Research Foundation. Ensures all procedures are fully documented and in compliance with University policies; assists with the monthly preparation of the financial statements as necessary. Position serves as Budget Manager and, in conjunction with CCI, is responsible for ensuring sound financial management, compliance, reporting, and oversight of all budgets within Seminole Production. Participates in long range budget planning and allocation of funds.

Responsible for general knowledge of the business and transactional functions of the Controller, Procurement, Human Resources, College of Communication and Information and Seminole Production. Coordinates, oversees, and administers Accounts Payable, Procurement, Travel and administrative and fiscal processes for Seminole Production.

Responsible for ensuring that the mutually agreed upon services, including financial and administrative reporting, are provided to Seminole Production. Manages and maintains all routine reports and provides financial analysis to management on a regular basis. Serves as the Human Resources departmental representative to CCI for Seminole Production. Reviews HR actives for Seminole Production to ensure accuracy.

Interprets Florida Statutes, State and University policies & procedures, and University Controller memorandums relating to human resources and finances. Provides leadership and direction of policy by reviewing, analyzing, developing, and implementing College of Communication and Information policies and procedures essential for the sound and effective management within Seminole Production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience.

(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Knowledge of electronic data processing as it applies to fiscal and accounting activities.

Knowledge of and ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other applicable computer applications.

Experience performing accurately in a detail-oriented environment.

Experience compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
