Saybrook University is seeking a Federal Work Study Student: To serve as Marketing Specialist for the Department of Leadership & Management

Under the direction of the Online Learning Specialist, the Federal Work Study Student:

Marketing Specialist is responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks under the supervision of the Chair and other faculty members of the Department of Leadership Management on a number of marketing projects.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting faculty, and staff with marketing activities and projects

Conduct a variety of research as part of the marketing processes and products

Supported by the DLM Chair and faculty members, develop print and electronic marketing copies, content, and collaterals

Staff a variety of marketing projects as assigned.

The Marketing Specialist may be assigned to other projects that require administrative support if there are available hours beyond their primary tasks and assignments.

Position Requirements:

Candidate must be a current Saybrook student in good standing.

Must have applied for federal work study via the FAFSA

Candidate must present and express her/himself positively to work directly with faculty, staff, and external parties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Candidate must demonstrate competence in writing, MS Office 365 applications (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Pagemaker), and multimedia software.

Ability to create desk top layout for newsletter content, brochures, and flyers as print and electronic format.

Technologically skilled in communication and presentation.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.The position also requires hours of typing, compute work, and reading each week.

Must be able to communicate with students and staff via email and/or over platforms such as Zoom.
