Position Summary:

Temporary 3-month position to complete outstanding research projects requiring molecular laboratory skills, experience with fish histology, and diseases of fish.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:

DVM, PhD, Veterinary Pathology Board Certification

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

Experience with molecular laboratory techniques (PCR, qPCR, DNA extraction, laser capture microdissection, in vitro hybridization (RNA Scope), metagenomics, data analysis, fish histology, fish pathology, fish disease, fish viruses, and myxozoan parasites.
