Duties and Responsibilities:

•This assistant coach position will primarily work with and train goal keepers.
•Assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes
•Serve as the Women’s Soccer program academic liaison
•Special Functions-Organize Annual banquet, team awards, senior day Awards, Alumni Event
•Video-Organize videotaping of all home games. Getting a copy of Video at Away games and breakdown games, send home games to MVC coaches
•Assist with routine administrative responsibilities of the assigned sport program and management of the women’s soccer team.
•Community relations liaison
•Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. Two to five years of Division I collegiate coaching experience in designated sport required. Understanding of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and commitment to the mission of Jesuit higher education.

Qualifications:

•Candidates should have experience working in a culturally diverse environment and knowledge of soccer in a college setting; the ability to draw upon coaching/playing experience and contribute to technical training specifically with goal keepers as well as in match tactical adjustments, and adjust and accommodate to differing techniques in a diverse and positive learning environment.
•Willingness to commit to the goals of Jesuit education.
•Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
