Job Summary

Responsible for providing general food service-related jobs that may include administrative, delivery, cashier, serving, stocking and receiving, and dishwashing duties. This position will interact on a regular basis with: This position will interact on a regular basis with culinary staff, vendors, students and faculty. Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Provide professional customer service skills.

Job Duty 2 -
Responsible for ensuring the assigned areas are cleaned according to set guidelines and work is performed in accordance with health department sanitation and university system guidelines.

Job Duty 3 -
Operate point-of-sale devices as cashier on an as needed basis.

Job Duty 4 -
Maintain, repair and clean utensils, equipment, and work areas. Report damaged equipment or utensils to manager/supervisors on duty.

Job Duty 5 -
Provide clean and sanitary cooking and preparation areas throughout the work shift.

Job Duty 6 -
Participate in training temporary and student employees.

Job Duty 7 -
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma.

Required Experience
Less than one year of job-related experience.

ServSafe Certification

Proposed Salary

This position pays $12.31 per hour

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES
Must have open availability to include nights and weekends. The ability to follow oral and written instructions, work with diverse population, and take direction.

KNOWLEDGE
Experience with cash handling preferred.

SKILLS
This job requires good customer Service Skills to include being courteous and dependable.
